Dead baby found in rubbish bin
A new-born baby was found dead in a rubbish bin in Bloemfontein on Thursday, paramedics said.
According to Netcare 911 spokesman Chris Botha, a vagrant found the baby, still attached to the afterbirth, while rummaging through the bin.
"Netcare 911 paramedics received the call and raced to the scene to assist; tragically after examining the foetus they found the child to have died."
Free State police could not immediately confirm the incident.
