This comes after three more bodies were recovered from the scene in the Southern Cape town on Friday.

Twenty-eight people have been injured, with some being critical and while 41 people remain trapped in the wreckage.

The head of Disaster Management, Colin Diener, said the developer had been found.

On Thursday, the Department of Labour confirmed it would be taking legal action against the owner of the building that collapsed in George after officials could not locate the owner.

"The developer was actually interviewed by the police investigators earlier today. We received quite a lot of information from them. I cannot speak on any other discussions that were held,

"We just wanted to know where we could locate the missing people. He gave us more information that helped us retrieve the three more people. He gave us an indication that there were still more people trapped on the first, second and third floors. They gave us an indication of where we should start searching,

"Something that we decided to do last night and it was in that area we just intensified the search.”
