During his address in the Bojanala Platinum District, Mabuza called on residents of the North West to work hand-in-hand with the Premier and the MECs in the North West to deal with the pandemic.

“We need to redouble our efforts, move a bit faster and agree to vaccinate. All our vaccination centres will be open during weekends. We are going to try and reach as many people as possible, “Asivumeni” said Mabuza.

He said that vaccination has proved to be more effective in dealing with the pandemic, as the country lost 87 000 people while wearing masks, sanitizing and adhering to social distancing.

Mabuza is expected to visit different communities and encourage members of the public to vaccinate and ensure that the country returns to normality, so that the economy can open up.
