Dineo: Vhembe learners told to stay home
Updated | By Olivia Phalaetsile
The Limpopo Department of Education has urged pupils in Vhembe and Mopane to remain at home as the tropical depression Dineo continues to move over Limpopo and Mpumalanga.

Limpopo Education spokesperson Naledzani Rasila says the decision was taken after a warning from the South African Weather Services.
"The Weather Services has indicated the strength of the storm might hit hard on Vhembe and Mopane. We have also requested the schools to have a plan to catch up for today," says Rasila.
Heavy rains fell in Limpopo and Mpumalanga last night, with more expected today.
"We have a warning for today for heavy rainfall with the possibility of flooding in the Mopani and Vhembe districts of Limpopo and the Ehlanzeni district in Mpumalanga," says Venter.
