DIRCO: We are awaiting information on missing flight

The Department of International Relations and Co-operation says they are awaiting more information on the missing Egypt Air flight MS804.
The Boeing, carrying 56 passengers and 10 crew members went missing about 600 kilometres from Cairo during the early hours of this morning.
According to information the plane vanished from radar.
The Department of International Relations and Co-operations in South Africa says there isn't any info regarding who the passengers are and where they are from.
"Like most countries we are waiting for the outcome of the investigation into the disappearance of the flight. As and when we get info we will release a statement," spokesperson Clayson Monyela told Jacaranda FM News.
He added that their interest is to find out whether any South Africans were on-board that flight.
Monyela said: "At this stage it is too early to tell and we are awaiting the outcome of the investigation by Egyptian Authorities."
