Disciplinary hearings for suspended SABC journalists postponed

The disciplinary hearings of three SABC journalists have been postponed to next week.
Scores of SABC staff have also been prevented from the protest outside the public broadcaster's offices in Auckland Park on Friday.
Karima Brown of the Independent Media group says a delegation met with COO Hlaudi Motsoeneng to intervene.
"It's a legal strike. We asked for a meeting to try and unlock that situation."
Suspended SABC reporter Thandeka Gqubele says the time has come to stand up and speak out against the editorial interference at the public broadcaster.
She handed over a memorandum to court officials at Constitutional Hill.
Journalists and members of the public are protested at the SABC's head office in Auckland Park on Friday morning against the public broadcaster's editorial policies.
The SABC has banned the broadcasting of footage of destruction of property during protests. It has also banned the highlighting of newspaper headlines.
Former SABC board members and senior executives have also penned a letter detailing their concern with the state of affairs at the public broadcaster.
