DJ arrested for murder in Soweto

"We had been searching for him since last week. He was arrested today for murder," Warrant Officer Kay Makhubela said.
The 32-year-old girlfriend was stabbed several times and locked in a flat in Jabulani, Soweto, on June 29.
Th man apparently phoned the woman's friend and confessed to killing her, police said at the time.
The man is a presenter at Soweto-based community radio station, Jozi FM.
Police offered a R50,000 reward for information leading to his arrest.
Makhubela said he would appear in the Protea Magistrate's Court soon.
