DJ Donald ‘Duck’ Sebolai to be sentenced
Updated | By ANA
Judge Cassim Moosa will on Wednesday sentence Donald Sebolai – the fallen community radio presenter better known as “DJ Donald Duck” – for the murder of his girlfriend Dolly Tshabalala.
Last month the South Gauteng High Court found Sebolai, guilty of murdering his girlfriend despite his incredible claim that he stabbed Tshabalala in the genital area in “self defence”.
Judge Moosa said Sebolai clearly did intend to kill Tshabalala because he did not seek medical help for her immediately after the stabbing. The was a medical facility just 900 metres from Tshabalala’s Soweto flat, where she was stabbed to death in June last year.
Indications are the Sebolai will is appeal the judgement, after he is sentenced.
