Don’t wear PA shirt if you’re sympathetic to foreigners, McKenzie tells Eldorado residents

Patriotic Alliance leader Gayton McKenzie has told supporters that the party’s green shirt is not for people who are sympathetic to foreign nationals.

McKenzie made the comments at the unveiling of tombstone for Nathaniel Julies in Eldorado Park on Tuesday.
His words were met with resounding approval from the crowd.
“I want you to know, don’t wear a green t-shirt if you have sympathy for a foreigner but no empathy for our people.”
Since its formation in 2013, the party has taken a firm and vocal stance against the influx of foreign nationals into the country.
The party has made it clear that foreign nationals should not have access to the country’s hospitals nor be employed in South Africa.

McKenzie took the opportunity to repeat the PA’s stance on foreign nationals.
“We say, as the Patriotic Alliance, that no foreigner legal or illegal should have a job here while a South African is sitting at home.
“That is the distinction between all the parties and the PA. We are saying that we have nurses here in Eldorado Park, we do not want nurses from Zimbabwe. You can only come here with a special skill. If we don’t have a brain surgeon here, we will welcome a legal foreigner that brings back the critical skills here.”
