Dove apologises for offensive Facebook post

The apology follows after an outcry by public on social media to have the post removed.

Personal care brand, Dove has apologised for a Facebook post in which women's skin colour is seen changing after using the product.

In the apology tweet, Dove recognises that the imagery was offensive.
An image we recently posted on Facebook missed the mark in representing women of color thoughtfully. We deeply regret the offense it caused.
