Driver nabbed on N4 for possession of drugs, speeding

A 23-year-old man was arrested after clocking
168 km/h in a 100 zone on the N4 in Pretoria.
Gauteng Traffic Police spokesperson Obed Sibasa says the suspect was also found to be in possession of drugs.

“A 23-year-old driver clocked 168km/h on a 100 zone on the N4 highway and our officers detected narcotics in the VW Polo. The driver attempted to bribe the police, and was arrested for being under the influence of alcohol, drugs, bribery and driving an excessive speed limit.”
The suspect will appear in the Pretoria Magistrate’s Court soon.
