Driver rescued from lagoon in Durban

A driver had to be rescued from a lagoon near Durban on
Friday morning.
The car crashed into the body of water following a collision on the M4 near Tongaat River, north of Durban on Friday morning.
Netcare 911 spokesperson Shawn Herbst says the driver lost control of the car.
"Resulting in the vehicle leaving the road, crashing through the safety barrier, coming to rest upside down in the lagoon.
"The patient, an adult female, had sustained moderate injuries and was treated on scene," says Herbst.
The woman is recovering in hospital.
