Updated | By Lulutho Mkosi
Former South African Airways (SAA) chairperson Dudu Myeni is set to testify in the High Court Pretoria on Thursday.
Myeni is expected to respond to evidence presented by the Organisation Undoing Tax Abuse (Outa) and the South African Airways Pilots Association (SAAPA).

The two organisations are involved in a long-standing legal battle to declare Myeni a delinquent director for her alleged misconduct during her tenure at SAA.
Outa’s Stefanie Fick says recent allegations at the commission of inquiry into state capture has further substantiated their view that Myeni should be declared delinquent.
“We are positive and quite confident that we have presented enough evidence so that the court can make a finding that she is declared a delinquent director.
“We are confident that we will be able to convince the court not to declare her a delinquent director for seven years, but for the rest of her life.”

However, Fick admits anything can happen in court on Thursday.
“We can arrive in court tomorrow and you know there is maybe a sick note. It is very hard to foresee what will happen tomorrow.”
