EC police investigate murder of burnt man
Mdantsane Police are investigating a case of murder following the discovery of a burnt body of a man.
Eastern Cape police said on Friday that the body was burnt beyond recognition.
Police spokesperson, Lieutenant Nkosikho Mzuku, said police found the burnt body on Thursday in Berlin near King Williams town.
They found the body in dense bushes near the Berlin Horse Racing track.
Mzuku said because of the severity of the burns and the body being decomposed the deceased could not yet be identified.
No arrests have been made.
