An Eastern Cape policewoman is under investigation for allegedly stabbing her boyfriend, the Independent Police Investigative Directorate (Ipid) said on Monday.
"It was alleged the incident happened at 9pm on Sunday, at the policewoman's house in New Location, Misgund," said spokesman Moses Dlamini.
The 29-year-old constable allegedly told the police she had stabbed Vincent Cook, 22, at her house. He suffered stab wounds in his upper body and died at the scene.
Dlamini said the woman was arrested and would appear in the Joubertina Magistrate's Court on Monday.
