Education MEC to visit Girls High
Updated | By MornéJK
Gauteng's MEC for Basic Education, Panyaza Lesufi will today visit the Pretoria Girls High in Pretoria after accusations of racist policies.
Learners at the Pretoria Girls High school are demanding that Gauteng's MEC for Education, Panyaza Lesufi meet with their head mistress to address racist practices at the school.
According to a letter that is doing the rounds, learners at the school have been forced to straighten their hair.
Last week Friday a group of girls marched to the school after the school allegedly urged learners to straighten their hair.
