EFF inaugurates new MPs
Updated | By Olivia Phalaetsile
The Economic Freedom Fighters swore in two new Members of Parliament on Tuesday after four of its suspended MPs failed a court bid to remain in their positions.
Mmabatho Mokause and Marshall Dlamini replaced Andile Mngxitama, Mpho Ramakhatsa, Khanyisile Litchfield- Tshabalala and Lucky Twala.
The four suspended MP's accused the EFF leadership of corruption and refused to appear before the party's disciplinary committee following these accusations.
Mokause served as co-ordinator of the EFF in the Northern Cape and was until recently a member of the provincial legislature. Dlamini served in the Central Command Team and was responsible for fundraising and deployment in KwaZulu Natal, the EFF said in a statement.
