EFF joins DA in no - confidence call
Updated | By Lonwabo Miso

"[We have] long lost confidence in the credibility of the Speaker to run this House impartially or objectively in any manner," Economic Freedom Fighters MP Khanyisile Litchfield-Tshabalala told MPs.
She called for an honest debate on the matter, and said Mbete appeared to be conflicted.
"The conflict in her can be read in her body language, in her facial expressions; while her independent intellect tells her what is objective to do, her heart subjectively tells her to toe the party line, for that's what puts bread on the table."
Litchfield-Tshabalala said the impartiality of a Speaker was paramount.
"We join the DA in a vote of no confidence in the Speaker, and we declare that... let us get into the practice of using judges to run the proceedings of this House," she said, to loud booing and shouting from ruling party benches.
