Updated | By JacarandaFM News
The Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) protested outside the Greenhills Stadium ahead of Premier David Makhura’s State of the Province address on Monday.

Dressed in their customary red overalls, EFF party members held white crosses in remembrance of the more than 100 people who died in the Life Esidimeni tragedy.
Songs opposing Premier David Makhura and the Gauteng ANC was sung by the crowd.
Two weeks ago, the EFF laid criminal charges against former Health MEC Qedani Mahlangu and Premier Makhura in connection with the deaths.
Health Ombudsman Professor Malegapuru Makgoba told Parliament last week that the death toll has now passed 100, and is set to keep rising.
Makgoba says even though his investigation is complete, more people and families are coming forward withinformation on the deaths.
