EFF to protest at state capture commission

The Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) are set to protest
outside the State Capture Inquiry on Monday.

Party leader, Julius Malema, says they regard Public Enterprises Minister Pravin Gordhan is "an enabler of state capture."
Gordhan is expected to be sworn in and testify about state capture this morning.
Gordhan’s 69-page affidavit testimony was leaked to the media a few weeks early.
Malema says the party wants to know how Gordhan became the Minister of Finance in the administration of former president Jacob Zuma.
"Are you aware of a meeting of with President Zuma were certain people asked that President Zuma make you minister of finance?" says Malema.
Malema believes the Gupta family and Zuma were able to capture the state with the help of Gordhan as the Finance Minister.
"He is an enabler of state capture. He must answer honourably and honestly, and he has lied already."
Malema says Gordhan claiming not to remember meeting the Gupta family cannot serve as an excuse in front of the law.
He adds the party will on Tuesday report Gordhan to the parliamentary Ethics Committee as "he has lied under oath."
