Eight people have been killed in a crash between a mine staff bus and a truck in Steelpoort, Limpopo.

The two vehicles were involved in a crash on the R555 on Thursday morning.
Preliminary investigations indicate that the bus was carrying mineworkers from a local mine when it collided with a truck, which was also carrying a group of people.
In a statement, the Limpopo Transport Department said the crash was caused by the bus that was overtaking unsafely and side-swiped the truck.
"The deceased were all passengers in the truck who were going to work at a nearby brick manufacturing company.
"MEC Florence Radzilani has sent messages of condolences and comfort to the families of the victims of this fatal accident.
"She had also made a clarion call to motorists to drive with caution and observe traffic rules at all times."
