According to the IEC’s CEO, Sy Mamabolo, votes will be counted at the voting stations where they have been cast.
South African cast their votes in the much-anticipated National and Provincial elections yesterday and are now eagerly awaiting the results.
But before results can be announced, all the votes cast have to be counted.
According to the IEC’s CEO, Sy Mamabolo, votes will be counted at the voting stations where they have been cast.
There were almost 23000 voting stations operational across the country yesterday.
The number of votes required to win a seat in Parliament will depend on the voter turnout, as Mamabolo explains.
