Eskom confirms further easing of power cuts
Eskom will implement stage 1 load shedding until 4pm on Monday due to improved generation capacity and performance.
Thereafter stage 3 will kick in from 4pm to 5am on Tuesday.
"Thereafter, load shedding will be implemented as previously communicated, where the pattern of stages 2 and 4 will be implemented until further notice.
"Eskom will publish another update should any significant changes occur," the utility said
On Sunday, Electricity Minister Kgosientso Ramokgopa confirmed the return of Unit 4 at Kusile Power Station, which the government hopes will ease the strain on the grid.
