Updated | By Jacarandafm news
Eskom confirmed on Friday that the rolling blackouts will start at 9am and is set to last until 10 pm.

Eskom spokesperson Khulu Phasiwe says some power units have been brought back to service, reducing the pressure on the grid.
This has led to the Stage 1 load-shedding on Friday after a week of Stage 2 blackouts.
"Its still early to say what will happen over the weekend, the intention is to do as much maintence as possible to stabilise the power grid," Phasiwe said.
On Thursday, Minister of Public Enterprises Pravin Gordhan vowed to do everything in his power to keep the lights on during the festive season.
