Eskom: No loadshedding for 16 days
Eskom on Monday marked 16 days without loadshedding, the power utility said.
In a statement, the power utility said: “Eskom has been able to perform maintenance without load shedding for 16 consecutive days. This is in line with the company’s strategy of striving to meet the country’s electricity needs and maintain its power generating units with minimal or no load shedding.
“We would like to thank our customers for their patience and support in using electricity sparingly during the early morning and evening peak periods. Every little bit of savings goes a long way in assisting us to manage the demand and supply of electricity and to reduce the risk of load shedding.” -ANA
