ESKOM: Stage 2 loadshedding until Thursday
Eskom has announced the implementation of stage 2 rotational loadshedding up until Thursday this week.
This comes after the embattled power utility could not replenish diesel for their open cycle gas turbines during the week end loadshedding.

However, spokesperson Sikonathi Mantshantsha says particular hours in the morning will be exempt from loadshedding.
"Eskom is implementating stage 2 loadshedding throughout Sunday until 6 am on Monday but there will be a break until 9 o'clock then the loadshedding will resume. Stage 2 again for the whole of Monday and the week up until Thursday."
"Daily there will be a break in loadshedding 6am until 9am, in order to help ease the traffic congestion," says Mantshantsha.
