Struggling power utility Eskom says it doesn't expect to implement rolling power blackouts for Saturday.

The cash-strapped state-owned entity has suspended load-shedding for Saturday but says there’s a limited risk for the evening and Sunday.
“We have been able to deliver an improved in the power system due to good work done by our teams overnight,” says spokesperson Dikatso Motae.
Unplanned outages stood on more than 13 000 megawatt on Saturday morning, some way about the 9 500 megawatt limit where Eskom normally starts implementing power cuts .
“Owing to the constrained and vulnerable system there is a limited risk of load-shedding in the evening and on Sunday,” says Motae.
It has once again blamed insufficient maintenance over several years.
The power utility is also currently experiencing a leadership crisis with its chairman Jabu Mabuza resigning on Friday.
