Eskom: 'System remains constrained'
Updated | By Lulutho Mkosi
Eskom says the national power grid remains tight on Tuesday, but that there is only a low risk of loadshedding.
The power utility says it is currently using diesel turbines to supplement capacity - while some units are still receiving maintenance.

The plan is for five units to return to generating power through the course of the day.
Eskom spokesperson, Dikatso Mothae, adds that the system will remain constrained for the rest of this week.
"We are expecting some units to come back from planned and unplanned maintenance today. However, the system will continue to be constrained for the rest of the week."
"We will be in a better position to tell you what tomorrow will look like once we see how the system has performed overnight," says Mothae.
