Ex-Steinhoff executive granted bail

Former Steinhoff executive Stephanus Grobler has been granted R150 000 bail with conditions by the Pretoria Specialised Commercial Crimes Court on Monday.
Grobler made his first appearance in the court on Friday in connection with the multi-billion rand fraud at Steinhoff.
His first appearance came a day after the death by suice of former Steinhoff CEO Markus Jooste in Hermanus.
The allegations include amongst others fraud, a pattern of racketeering activities and contravention of Financial Markets Act against Steinhoff International Holdings.
The case has been postponed to 26 June.
