#ExamLeak suspect to appear in court
The department of basic education has confirmed that a 52-year-old man handed himself over in connection with the leaked Mathematics 2 paper in Limpopo.
According to education spokesperson, Elijah Mhlanga, the identity of the man will be revealed when he appears in court this morning.
"All we can confirm is that the Hawks in Limpopo processed the man after he handed himself over," Mhlanga told Jacaranda FM News.
A number of students in Giyani had access to parts of the Maths 2 question paper before sitting for the exam.
He added that the department welcomes the arrest as it will bring them a step closer to finding out exactly how the exam paper was leaked.

"Police have interviewed several people and we welcome it as a department," Mhlanga said.
This comes after student at the University of Johannesburg student was also implicated in the exam leak.
Earlier this week the Minister of Basic Education, Angie Motshekga said they expect a full report on the exam leak as soon as possible.
Speaking during a media briefing in Pretoria, Motshekga assured members of the media that the police would soon arrest the culprits who leaked the paper.
