Extra security for Caster Semenya at Olympics: report

South Africa's star 800 metre athlete, Caster Semenya, will reportedly be escorted by extra security personnel when she takes part in the 800 metre heats at the Rio Olympics on Wednesday afternoon.
Semenya made headlines again after international criticism that she not be allowed to compete, because her body produces higher levels of testosterone.
Critics claim that this gives her an advantage over fellow female athletes.
Semenya has obliterated all opposition before her and is the overwhelming favourite to take gold in the women's 800 metres and possibly shatter the world record.
Her participation, however, continues to be shrouded in controversy even before she has taken a single stride on the track.
Reports indicate that she won't be allowed to conduct any media interviews and will constantly be accompanied by Rio Olympics security staff.
