Facebook down for second time in a week
Updated | By DPA
Facebook went offline for some users Monday around the globe, the second time in a week that the world’s largest social network failed to connect, according to news and social media reports.
The connection problems began around 1900 GMT. Users trying to log onto Facebook were greeted with the message, “Sorry, something went wrong. We’re working on it, and we’ll get it fixed as soon as we can.”
Many social media users turned to Twitter to report the outage, using the hashtag #facebookdown to report connection problems in countries including India, the United States, France, Italy, Germany and Britain.
Facebook users experienced outages Thursday.
