Father slits children's throats, stabs wife
A man in Phomolong near Rabie Ridge allegedly killed his two children, aged 2 and 5, by slitting their throats with a knife on Wednesday night.
Gauteng police say the man's body was found in a resident of Phomolong's backyard after he committed suicide.
Police spokesperson Tshekiso Mofokeng said the man also allegedly stabbed his wife on the upper body after killing his children.
"He killed his two kids, left them dead in the house and went to look for their mother at a shebeen where he stabbed her on the upper body," Mofokeng said.
The mother was in a serious condition in hospital.
