Fire at Blue Waters Hotel in Durban
Updated | By ECR Newswatch
Emergency services were at the Blue Waters Hotel on the Durban beachfront after a fire broke out in the transformer room on the first floor on Wednesday.

Management at the hotel said the building was evacuated and that the fire has been extinguished.
Some residents living adjacent to the hotel said they heard a loud explosion before thick black smoke started billowing from the building.
The road around the hotel has been cordoned off with people gathering on the promenade.
