Updated | By Gaopalelwe Phalaetsile
The Limpopo Health Department has seen someone admitted to hospital due to Covid-19 for the first time.

A 55-year-old man, who was in isolation after he traveled from Nigeria recently, experienced mild symptoms and has now been admitted to hospital.
The department says the two new cases recorded on Tuesday are both medical doctors who work in Mpumalanga but tested positive in a Limpopo laboratory.
They are both in isolation in the province.

The number of cases in the province stands at 14.
Health MEC Phophi Ramathuba has urged residents to adhere to the lockdown regulations.
"We are concerned about the increased number of cases, which are of people who have traveled from other parts of the country and the world. We call on our people to adhere to the 21-day lockdown period as pronounced by the president."
Ramabutha says the Department of Health is currently compiling the list of contacts of the two doctors in Limpopo in collaboration with the provincial department in Mpumalanga.
