First votes counted for 2019 Elections

With the first results coming from the rural Eastern-Cape, the controversial African Transformation Movement (ATM) landing it's first vote ever.
South Africans turned up in numbers on 8 May to vote in the much-anticipated National and Provincial elections.
By Thursday morning, the first results were starting to trickle in.
By 5:30, just over 12 percent of the votes cast on Wednesday has been counted.
With the first results coming from the rural Eastern-Cape, the controversial African Transformation Movement (ATM) landing it's first vote ever.

By 6am, anout1,1 million votes had been counted already with just over 15,000 spoilt.
