Five accused in Senzo Meyiwa murder back in court

The five men linked to the murder of the late Bafana Bafana captain Senzo Meyiwa are set to appear at the Palm Ridge Magistrate’s Court on Monday.
The hearing is set to focus on the setting of a formal start date for the trial.
The late soccer player was killed in October 2014 at his girlfriend Kelly Khumalo’s home in Vosloorus, east of Johannesburg.
No one has yet been convicted for the murder.
The five suspects, all of whom are currently serving jail sentences for other crimes, have claimed innocence.
They are facing charges of murder, attempted murder, robbery with aggravating circumstances, and possession of an unlicensed firearm and ammunition.
All the accused remain behind bars.
