Five arrested in PTA for possession of drugs
Gauteng police have arrested five people for possession of drugs valued at R100 000.
Police spokesperson Captain Pinki Motsinyane said police had followed up on information about drugs at a Silverton house in Pretoria, on Wednesday.
"When members arrived, three suspects jumped over the wall to flee the scene, but were chased and arrested. Two other suspects were found inside the house trying to hide the drugs, presumed to be khat."
The men, aged between 25 and 30, would appear in the Pretoria Magistrate's Court soon on charges of possession and dealing in drugs.
