They are accused of murdering 83-year old Danie Brand, his 73-year old wife Breggie and their 54-year-old daughter Elzabie, who went missing on 26 July.
“Donald Seolesang, 20, Tshepo Visagie, 36, Realeboga Manyedi , 19, Kgomotso Mpumlwana , 43 and Tshepaone Melato, 19 are facing 8 charges which include three counts of murder, robbery and kidnapping,”says Senokoatsane.
The case has been remanded until 27 August 2020, when accused number 4, who is also the only female, will apply for bail.
Senokoatsane says the state will oppose bail given the seriousness of the charges.
