Five hurt in CTown shooting

Five people were wounded in a minibus taxi shooting in Seawinds, Cape Town, on Friday morning, Western Cape police said.

Police responded to the shooting in St Patrick's Street around 6am and were told two taxi drivers and three passengers were shot at.
"They [officers] were informed by residents of the area that two taxis, which were fired upon, had rushed to Retreat Day Hospital," Captain Frederick van Wyk said.
He said the suspects and circumstances were unknown.
An attempted murder docket was being investigated.
