Five killed and four wounded in mass shooting in Gqeberha

Four men have been killed and five wounded following a mass shooting in Barend Street in Salt Lake in the Northern Areas of Gqeberha.
Local residents took to social media to report the incident shortly after midnight on Thursday.
According to reports four suspects arrived at the house in two separate vehicles and were given access to the property.
Spokesperson Brigadier Tembinkosi Kinana says the suspect's faces were covered.
It is alleged that the nine victims were ushered into the garage before several shots were fired.

Five men survived the shooting and are currently in hospital.
Police Spokesperson Brigadier Tembinkosi Kinana says the identities and ages of the four deceased are not yet known, however, the men who are in the hospital are aged between 29 and 31.
The motive for the shooting is unknown at this stage and five cases of murder and four of attempted murder are under investigation.
