Five killed in a plane crash in Cape Town
Updated | By Sune du Toit
Western Cape health department spokesman Mark van der Heever said the crash occurred in the Plattekloof area.
“The plane was coming from Namibia and went went missing off the radar at [6.50am] and a call to the control room was made at [7.50am].”
Van der Heever said those on board were two pilots, one paramedic, one patient, and one passenger. All five were declared dead on the scene.
“Investigations are still being done but we think bad weather and poor visibility caused the accident,” he said.
