'Food poisoning' leaves scores in Limpopo hospital
Updated | By Cliff Shiko
The Limpopo Department of Health has confirmed the hospitalisation of 50 pupils from Giyani over suspected food poisoning.

The pupils from Dzumeri Primary School were rushed to Khensani Hospital on Thursday.
They complained of abdominal pains, while others vomited after eating food from the school.
Limpopo Health spokesperson Neil Shikwamabana said the children are in a stable condition.
"We can see that the reports from our medical team indicate that the conditions of the learners are stable, and they are still being treated at the facility's casualty ward.
"The learners earlier complained of abdominal pain, and others vomited after it was suspected that they ingested food at school."
This is the second incident of suspected food borne illness after dozens of pupils were hospitalised in Malamulele last month.
