Former Parktown Boys teacher in court for sexual offences
Updated | By JacarandaFM News
A former teacher at Parktown Boys' High School in Johannesburg is expected to appear in court today.

The 22-year-old man is accused of sexually assaulting more than 20 learners.
The Department of Education in Gauteng has since launched its own investigation.
"We are particularly concerned that this matter was not reported to the department. We only learned about it when it went to court," says the department's Oupa Bodibe.
Bodibe says they take this matter very seriously.
"Any official or educator accused of sexually abusing learners in their care is a very serious violation," says Bodibe.
Bodibe confirms that the learners are still at school, but the coach resigned.
