Mayor: Fort Klapperkop perfect location for Parliament
Updated | By Slindelo Masikane
Tshwane Mayor Kgosientso Ramokgopa said the city was the most natural location to house Parliament.

Ramokgopa delivered his State of the Capital Address at Freedom Park on Thursday.
President Jacob Zuma, in his State of the Nation Address earlier this year, said it would cost the public purse far less if Parliament and the Union Buildings were in one place.
Mayor Ramokgopa said the City of Tshwane was the fastest growing metro in the country and the natural new home of Parliament.
He said Fort Klapperkop remains the top site for this.
