Four alleged cop killers in court
Updated | By sibahle motha
Four people accused of killing a police major were expected to go on trial for his murder in the High Court in Pretoria on Monday.
Bheki Mhlongo, Zukisa Mablayi, Nkosinathi Ndlovu and Mandisa Mayezana stand accused of killing Major Abram Tselana, 45, after he disappeared in December 2012.
Tselana disappeared after withdrawing money at a bank in central Pretoria on December 31. His body was found four days later with an open wound to the head in a veld near Paul Kruger Street in Pretoria.
At the time, the police said he had withdrawn more than R20 000 and that he was approached by a woman and two men and was later seen a car with them.
The murder trial has been set down for the whole week.
