Four people were arrested for allegedly robbing a cigarette delivery vehicle of its cargo in Moletjie, Limpopo, on Tuesday.

Police spokeswoman Colonel Ronel Otto said the employees of the cigarette company were overpowered by four armed men while making deliveries at a shop in the area.
“The employees were tied up and forced into the nearby bushes at gunpoint. The suspects took the vehicle and drove off, and stopped later to load the cigarettes into their own vehicle,” Otto said.
Police were alerted about the robbery and searched for the alleged robbers and spotted their vehicle in the area.
“They followed the suspects and arrested all of them. The stolen cigarette cargo, estimated to be worth R200,000, was recovered.”
The four men were expected to appear in the Seshego Magistrate’s Court soon to face charges of armed robbery.
