Four arrested in missing Pretoria journalist case

Police have made a breakthrough in the case of missing Pretoria journalist Aserie Ndlovu and his partner.

The pair disappeared on 18 February and are yet to be found.
Ndlovu, is a committee member of the National Press Club and founder of the Capital Live radio station, disappeared after leaving his workplace in Mamelodi.
His partner Zodwa Mdhluli was also reported missing on the same evening.
The missing persons case has since been changed to a kidnapping and car hijacking case after two suspects were found with different vehicle parts believed to be that of Ndlovu.
"One of those arrested is said to be a car mechanic in the KwaMhlanga area. Two VW Citi golfs that were found in possession of the suspects have been seized," national police spokesperson Athlenda Mathe said on Monday.
"Additional charges such as house robbery and being in possession of stolen property are likely to be added."
One suspect is expected to appear before the Mamelodi Magistrates Court on Tuesday, while three others are expected to appear later this week in the KwaMhlanga Magistrate's Court.
Mathe said the search is still on for the missing couple and for other suspects.
