Updated | By Cliff Shiko
Four suspects have been arrested in the Johannesburg city centre on charges relating to the impersonation of police officers.
The suspects were arrested on Monday.
Police say the four were nabbed while targeting foreign nationals and demanding passports from them.
The two women and two men, aged between 35 and 47, were found with handcuffs and police appointment cards.
Spokesperson for Johannesburg Central Police Xoli Mbhele says the suspects were caught red-handed while they busy harassing their victims.
The suspects are expected to appear in the Johannesburg Magistrate's Court on Tuesday.
