Four suspects have been killed after shootout with police following a cash-in-transit robbery in Katlehong in the south-east of Johannesburg.

Police say the robbery took place in Langlaagte Industrial on Friday morning.
A group of armed suspects used explosives to gain access to the money.
A security guard is recovering in a local hospital after being shot in the head.
Gauteng police spokesperson Brenda Muridili says a joint operation received a tip-off that led to a safehouse.
“National Crime Intelligence received information and immediately activated the SAPS Airwing, Limpopo, and Mpumalanga Tracking Teams with assistance from EMPD Swat and JMPD K9 to trace the suspects.
"The members went to Katlehong to a safe house where the suspects tried to shoot their way out. This resulted in one suspect was arrested while four others were fatally wounded.”
One suspect fled while another was nabbed during a shootout with the police.
